About

I am Kelsey Brennan and I am currently a product designer at Carbon Five. Here is my resume and LinkedIn.

Past clients include Autodesk, Thomson Reuters, Coinbase, Vium, Brandless™, and the Commonwealth Club of California. Due to legalities, non-disclosure agreements etc. please contact me for a case study if you'd like to learn more about my client work at Carbon Five. I know this is a bummer, totally inconvenient, and I am sorry 😞

As for me, I'm interested in how computing and physical space can help inform each other such that human need is better met in the development of digital and built environments. I enjoy broad-ranging topics such as transportation, fabrication, construction, sustainable energy, AI, machine learning and other hard problems that require a set of teeth to sink into. Outside of work I like to get out of the city, ride horses, dive, surf and explore personal interests outside of design.

I hold a Masters in Architecture from UC Berkeley with a DE in New Media; some time before that I went to Reed College. Prior to grad school I was involved in marketing and product development for several San Francisco startups, including one of the first apps to launch on the Google Hangouts API. My design research has been presented at ACADIA (Association for Computer-Aided Design in Architecture), SPUR, Maker Fayre and has been published in Paradigms in Computing: Making, Machines, and Models for Design Agency in Architecture.

I like big problems. Outside of work I like to get outside, ride horses, dive, surf and explore personal interests outside of design.
